Farah Khan opens up about working with Aryan Khan on ‘Ghafoor’: ‘I started with Shah Rukh Khan; the circle is completed’

Veteran choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan has opened up about a deeply sentimental milestone in her career: choreographing for Aryan Khan in his much-anticipated directorial debut series, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. Having spent decades working with Shah Rukh Khan on some of Bollywood’s most iconic songs, Farah says working with SRK’s son has brought her journey full circle in the most meaningful way.

Farah Khan on choreographing Aryan Khan’s ‘Ghafoor’

During an appearance on Shekhar Suman’s popular talk show ‘Shekhar Tonite’, Farah Khan reflected on her experience working on ‘Ghafoor’, a high-energy special number featured in ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. Speaking with evident pride, she described the moment as one of great personal significance. She said, “I recently did ‘Ghafoor’ with Tamannaah, and she loved it. I started with SRK, and now I’ve choreographed for Aryan’s directorial. I am very happy that the circle is completed.”Farah Khan’s association with Shah Rukh Khan stretches back decades. She has choreographed the superstar in some of Bollywood’s most beloved tracks, including ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ and ‘Dard-e-Disco’, and went on to make her directorial debut with SRK in ‘Main Hoon Na’ in 2004. Stepping onto Aryan Khan’s sets, therefore, felt less like a professional assignment and more like a personal milestone.

About the song ‘Ghafoor’

The track ‘Ghafoor’, composed by Shashwat Sachdev and sung by Shilpa Rao and Ujwal Gupta, is a high-octane number that brings infectious energy to the series. Led by Tamannaah Bhatia, the song also features veteran Bollywood stars Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor, and Gulshan Grover. According to Farah, Tamannaah was absolutely thrilled with how the choreography came together.

About ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’

While his father Shah Rukh Khan continues to reign in front of the camera, Aryan Khan has chosen to make his mark behind it. ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ marks Aryan’s official foray into filmmaking as a director. Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, the satirical comedy-drama features a powerhouse ensemble cast including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Mona Singh, among others. The series is one of the most eagerly awaited OTT projects in recent times. Go to Source
