Kylie Jenner’s former chef alleges long work hours caused a miscarriage

The Los Angeles Times reported that a professional chef, who used to work for Kylie Jenner and the Kardashian family, alleged she miscarried because of long work hours with the celebrity family. The allegations also include an instance where the chef was asked to cater a birthday party for the family in Palm Springs, California, in February. It was around the same time when she had been 5 months pregnant. However, the report stated that the woman was not provided with adequate care at that time. The report also mentioned that the woman asked her supervisors for help and support at the party; however, her requests were ignored. She has officially filed a lawsuit against the celebrity family. A statement from the lawsuit read, “Due to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event. That evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”The next day, the woman lost her baby after experiencing extreme hemorrhaging and taking herself to the hospital. Afterwards, she went into depression; however, allegedly a supervisor told her at one point to “Stop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie. You are making her depressed.”The chef’s legal counsel also issued a statement and shared that “Celebrity status does not exempt anyone from California’s employment laws. We look forward to presenting the evidence in court and allowing the facts to speak for themselves.”

Kylie Jenner faces third lawsuit

This is not the only lawsuit that Jenner’s former employees have filed against the TV star. Two of her former housekeepers have already filed complaints prior to this. Juana Delgado Soto, in May this year, alleged in her complaint that she faced racial bias, discrimination, and harassment during her employment under Jenner.Angelica Vasquez had also earlier filed a lawsuit against Jenner, stating that she underwent major discrimination and harassment while working for the Kardashians. At the time of writing, Jenner has not issued any statements about the matter.Disclaimer: If you or someone you know is struggling with the loss of a child, please seek support from qualified mental health professionals or grief support groups.
