Robby Hoffman, the ‘Hacks’ actress, confessed to storming out of the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys after she lost the category to her co-star, Julianne Nicholson. Recalling the Emmy incident, Robby Hoffman noted that the category was the first award listed during the ‘Bald and Beautiful’ podcast with Trixie Mattel, who was also present during the last year’s infamous night in September. “I lose immediately,” the ‘Rooster’ actress said, before adding, “I was the biggest sore loser. We’re the first award up. I immediately lost, and we woke up with all the gusto in the world,” she continued.The actress admitted to had assumed herself the ultimate winner, despite being in competition with decorated stars like Olivia Colman and Zoë Kravitz. “I walk in, I’m already like, ‘Where am I going to put the Emmy?’ We lose immediately,” she said, adding that her sister grabbed her arm and asked to leave the ceremony.

Furthermore, Hoffman claimed that she had to present an award ahead in the evening, but she was not in the mood. “I had to present cinematography. I said, ‘Nah, I don’t want to do that anymore.’ They said, ‘No, it’s part of the program!’” she explained. After calming down with a glass of champagne and Mattel’s confrontations in the backstage area, she later went on the stage and presented the trophy for Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (Half-Hour).During the interview, Hoffman shared her happiness that Julianne Nicholson won the category even if it was not her. “Julianne Nicholson, who beyond deserves it, won, and if not for me, her for Hacks.
