Arjun Sarja’s action entertainer ‘Blast’ continues to enjoy a successful run at the box office despite entering its third week.

According to Sacnilk, ‘Blast’ collected Rs 74 lakhs net in India on Day 21. The latest figure represents a 15.9 per cent drop from Day 20, when the film earned Rs 88 lakhs net.

India net collection nears Rs 50 crore mark

‘Blast’ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 49.20 crore. The film’s India gross collection currently stands at Rs 56.55 crore.The action drama collected Rs 25.78 crore net during its opening week and followed it up with a solid second-week total of Rs 14.66 crore. ‘Blast’ earned its collections from 1,885 shows nationwide on day 21.

Worldwide gross collection touches Rs 70.60 crore

‘Blast’ has accumulated Rs 14.05 crore in overseas gross collections so far. The film’s worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 70.60 crore.According to the state-wise gross collection report, the state contributed Rs 53 lakhs gross out of the day’s total Rs 85 lakhs gross collection.Kerala emerged as the second-largest contributor with Rs 19 lakhs gross. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana added Rs 12 lakhs while Karnataka contributed Rs 1 lakh. The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy of 12.69 per cent on Day 21. Morning shows registered 11.08 per cent occupancy. Afternoon shows improved to 13.25 per cent. Evening occupancy stood at 11.75 per cent, while night shows recorded the day’s highest occupancy at 13.42 per cent.The film stars Arjun Sarja, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in lead roles.
