Singer Sonu Nigam has shared a health update with fans, revealing that he has been battling a painful nerve-related condition and undergoing medical treatment over the past week. Despite the discomfort, the singer has decided to go ahead with his scheduled performance in Mumbai.

Undergoing tests and treatment

In a video posted on social media, Sonu revealed that he has been dealing with pinched nerves and has undergone several medical examinations to assess the issue.”My nerves are pinched. I have been taking MRI and CT scans for a week. I have been taking a lot of medicines,” he said.The singer explained that the condition has required continuous medical attention, including scans, medication and physiotherapy sessions.

‘Physiotherapy was very painful’

Sharing details of his treatment, Sonu said that physiotherapy has been particularly challenging.”Physiotherapy was very painful. I am taking painkillers now. Due to that, my throat is also a little heavy,” he said.The singer noted that the medicines prescribed to relax his muscles have affected his throat, something that can be especially concerning for a vocalist preparing for a live performance.

Determined to perform despite health concerns

While acknowledging the difficulties he is facing, Sonu stressed that he has no plans to cancel his concert. The singer said he is eager to perform after a long gap and wants to keep his commitment to fans.Despite the pain and the effect of medication on his voice, Sonu expressed confidence that he would be able to take the stage and deliver his performance.The video quickly drew reactions from fans, who flooded the comments section with messages of support. Many wished the singer a speedy recovery, while others applauded his determination to continue working despite his health challenges.
