On the occasion of the 110th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, the Fortezza da Basso and the city of Florence reaffirmed themselves as the ideal stage for the debut of new co-branding partnerships, capsule collections and special projects that redraw the boundaries of menswear, blending tailoring, contemporary lifestyle and a spirit of travel.
SuperDuper x Escapista
Florentine hat brand SuperDuper joins forces with Escapista, a travel-lifestyle brand founded by Leonardo Girombelli, to create “Faded in Blue”, a limited-edition, numbered capsule collection available from June 16, which reinterprets SuperDuper’s iconic Hobo and Wandermate models through Escapista’s signature blue hues.

Entirely handcrafted in the brand’s Florentine atelier, the collection features the Hobo model — a deconstructed, packable travel fedora — offered in natural raffia as well as premium felt with a stonewashed finish, while the wide-brimmed Wandermate is elevated with a chin strap and symbolic details such as leather cords and Earthpiece-certified lapis lazuli stones.
The Observer x Valstar
A limited-edition travel jacket — the result of over a year’s work between Valstar’s Creative Director, Luigi Fila, and Robert Spangle (reporter and founder of The Observer) — made it debut at Pitti Uomo. The garment marries the Milanese brand’s storied outerwear heritage with the journalist’s dynamic approach, yielding a clean, lightweight and versatile bomber silhouette.

Designed to adapt to different climates and contexts — from business trips to daily commutes across global cities — the jacket pairs soft suede sleeves with a pared-back construction rich in technical details that move with the wearer without compromising the garment’s formal elegance. The Observer x Valstar collaboration will be available exclusively to pre-order online via the Valstar website throughout July, and each piece is made to order.
The Place Firenze x Flora Lastraioli
The Place Firenze boutique hotel, supported by Fondazione The Place of Wonders (a Babini family initiative created to safeguard local craftsmanship), has joined forces with the historic Florentine lingerie atelier Flora Lastraioli to present a capsule collection of men’s and women’s sleepwear.

The collection, comprising classic, tailored pyjamas and co-ordinating Bermuda shorts, is made entirely in Florence from organic cotton poplin. The garments feature a geometric pattern in shades of light and deep green, inspired by Renaissance proportions and the architectural principles of Leon Battista Alberti.
“Flora Lastraioli is one of our wonderful Wonders from The Place of Wonders Foundation, among the few remaining bespoke lingerie workshops in Italy. With great passion and creative energy, we designed this beautiful line of pyjamas, drawing inspiration from the symbolic language of Leon Battista Alberti, a source of inspiration throughout the interior design of our Florentine home, The Place,” commented Claudio Meli, general manager of The Place Firenze.
La Marzocco x Frescobol Carioca
La Marzocco, a leading name in high-end espresso machines, collaborates with the Brazilian brand Frescobol Carioca on the “Cafézinho Carioca” project, a distinctive collaboration presented within a space in the Fortezza inspired by a sophisticated Italo-Brazilian bar and characterised by shades of sandy beige and palm green.

The collaboration, which celebrates relaxed elegance and the ritual of coffee as a mindful pause, includes a special Linea Mini machine crafted by Officine Fratelli Bambi and a co-branded capsule collection of beachwear and loungewear. For the occasion, La Marzocco extends the experience beyond Fortezza da Basso, offering Pitti Uomo attendees a complimentary shuttle service to visit the Accademia del Caffè Espresso in the hills of Fiesole, where museum tours and guided tastings are on offer.
Bramani Cashmere
Piedmont-based brand Bramani Cashmere will unveil its SS 2027 collection at the Central Pavilion, marked by the eagerly awaited expansion of its offering into the beachwear sphere. The label is launching its first beachwear capsule, expressed in the brand’s signature natural tones — such as sand, delicate greens and ocean hues — for an understated yet sophisticated summer elegance.
The real innovation lies in the development of materials: the swimwear line introduces an all-new fabric that combines a waterproof, quick-drying technical component with the natural feel of linen. This noble, summery fibre takes centre stage across the knitwear offering for the coming season, complementing the brand’s traditional materials, such as cashmere, silk and cotton.
