Chhattisgarh: Electricity Tariffs Increased Across the State

Electricity has become more expensive in Chhattisgarh after the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (CSERC) announced revised power tariffs. Under the new rates, domestic consumers will have to pay an additional 30 to 50 paise per unit of electricity, increasing the financial burden on households. The tariff revision is expected to impact a large number of residents and add to existing inflationary pressures. With higher electricity bills set to take effect, consumers across the state are likely to feel the impact on their monthly expenses as the revised rates come into force.
