Mithun Chakraborty’s adopted daughter Dishani Chakraborty is engaged to Myles Mantzaris. The couple will marry on December 6, 2026. Dishani shared dreamy proposal pictures on Instagram. Mithun, known for ‘Disco Dancer’, was last seen in ‘The Bengal Files’ directed by Vivek Agnihotri.

Dishani Chakraborty, daughter of veteran actor and politician Mithun Chakraborty, has announced her engagement to Myles Mantzaris. The couple is set to tie the knot on December 6, 2026.

Dishani Chakraborty gets engaged to Myles Mantzaris

Taking to Instagram, Dishani shared a series of dreamy pictures from the proposal, sending fans into a frenzy. One image captured the heartwarming moment as Myles, a steadicam operator and colorist, as per his Instagram bio, got down on one knee. Another showed the daughter of the Disco Dancer star proudly showing off her stunning engagement ring, while the final frame captured the two sharing a tender kiss. Keeping her caption simple yet beautiful, Dishani wrote: “06.12.2026… The easiest forever I’ve ever known.”

About Dishani’s family

Dishani is the adopted daughter of Mithun Chakraborty and his wife, actress Yogeeta Bali. The couple got married in 1979. Before Yogeeta, Mithun was married to actress Helena Luke, also in 1979, but the marriage lasted only four months and ended in divorce. Mithun and Yogeeta have three sons, Mimoh, Ushmey, and Namashi and an adopted daughter Dishani.

Mithun’s illustrious career

Mithun made his acting debut with the 1976 art house drama ‘Mrigayaa’, directed by Mrinal Sen, which earned him the National Film Award for Best Actor. He became a household name with the 1982 blockbuster ‘Disco Dancer’ and went on to star in a string of popular films, including ‘Agneepath’, ‘Pati Patni Aur Tawaif’, ‘Gunahon Ka Devta’, ‘Roti Kee Keemat’, ‘Trinetra’, ‘Shatranj’, ‘Tadipaar’, ‘Jung’, ‘Kaalia’, ‘Daadagiri’, ‘Guru’, ‘My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves’, ‘Housefull 2’, ‘The Tashkent Files’, and ‘The Kashmir Files’.

Mithun’s latest work

On the work front, Mithun was last seen in the movie ‘The Bengal Files’, directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film is about two dark events in history, Direct Action Day and the Noakhali riots and shows the terrible violence and destruction that followed. Go to Source
