'Governor' box office collection Day 1: Manoj Bajpayee's film earns Rs 90 lakh amid stiff competition from multiple releases

Manoj Bajpayee’s film ‘Governor: The Silent Saviour’ has hit the theatres on June 12, 2026. The movie, directed by Chinmay Mandlekar, has arrived in cinemas during a crowded box office. ‘Governor: The Silent Saviour’ box office collection Day 1

Despite several films releasing on the same day, the Manoj Bajpayee starrer has managed to mint a decent amount at the box office. According to the Sacnilk report, the film has collected Rs 0.9 crore (Rs 90 lakh) across 1427 shows on Day 1. The total India net collection is Rs 0.9 crore, while the total India gross collection stands at Rs 1.08 crore. As per the same report, the film enjoyed an overall occupancy of 18.28% on Day 1.

The Manoj Bajpayee starrer shared screens with Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ and Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and Naseeruddin Shah.Meanwhile, the previous week’s releases, ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, ‘Bandar’, and ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’, are also running in cinemas, posing a competition to ‘Governor’.
