The Los Angeles ceremony marked the third major opening celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2026, following ceremonies in Mexico and Canada as the tournament unfolds across the three host nations.Canada’s opening ceremony also featured a lineup of performers, including Canadian music legends Michael Bublé and Alanis Morissette. They were joined by fellow Canadian artists Alessia Cara and Jessie Reyez, Palestinian singer-songwriter Elyanna, and Toronto-born actress and Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi.
