Actor Vijay Sethupathi and ace filmmaker Puri Jagannadh have joined forces for the upcoming entertainer ‘Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road’. Recently the makers unveiled the teaser of the film as the actor seems to be a visually impaired beggar.

Speaking of the trailer, it shows Vijay Sethupathi talking about the difficult lives of beggars. The makers also narrate it through the visuals. Vijay’s character then give a strong warning to people who take advantage of them. The teaser then moves through a series of action-packed and emotional moments that introduce the main characters of the film.The teaser has a mystery surrounding Vijay Sethupathi’s character. He appears as a visually impaired beggar, but the teaser does not clearly reveal whether he is actually blind or if there is more to the story. Vijay Sethupathi delivers a strong screen presence throughout the teaser.

Cast of ‘Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road’

The teaser also introduces several important characters, as Tabu is seen as a police officer. Samyuktha appears in a key role. Meanwhile, Duniya Vijay is seen as a dangerous and powerful antagonist.The teaser also offers brief glimpses of characters played by Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh. Speaking of its technical team, Cinematographer Sam K Naidu gives a gritty visual texture and stylish presentation. On the other hand, National Award-winning composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar adds the tunes in the film. The editing is done by Santosh Noozilla.

‘Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road’ production status

The team is now busy with post-production work across all language versions to ensure the film is ready for its grand release.The film is expected to hit theatres in June and is said to be released in five languages, including Kannada and Malayalam.
