Recalling the time they spent together, she wrote in her post, “This cut is so deep I fear it can never heal (heartbreak emoji). Oh Tonal…I am so grateful to have had you in my life! I want to say a million wonderful things about you, and yet I can’t seem to find the words that would do you justice. I love you so much and will miss you forever. RIP.”Along with the post, she added an old photo of the two of them. Under her post, many people, including co-star and friend Sarah Michelle Gellar, also posted comments. The actress wrote, “He loved you so dearly, Aly,” while TV personality Harry Jowsey wrote, “(heart emojis) sending you all the love and strength.” Musician Craig Thomas also paid his respects and commented, “RIP to a true legend.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar paid her tribute by sharing a heartwarming post that read, “Thank you to Daisy and Emily who not only shared their dad with me, but with the world.” Actor David Boreanaz also wrote his own post, adding, “RIP. He was so kind and generous of a soul.”James Marsters said in his tribute that “He (Anthony Head) was an unflaggingly kind and steady presence on the set of Buffy, and the best actor in the cast… I was lucky to have known and learned from him.”

Anthony Head passes away at 72

According to a Press Association report, the actor’s daughters, Emily and Daisy Head, confirmed the news of Anthony’s passing. Their official statement read, “He passed away peacefully of complications due to pneumonia, surrounded by his family.
