IRGC commander says Israel’s elimination ‘achievable’
A commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force chief Esmail Qaani, said that eliminating Israel from the region is an “achievable goal” and claimed Hezbollah would soon see results of its “courageous resistance.” He said Lebanon’s key demand is Israeli withdrawal to pre-war positions and called support for Hezbollah a “duty of all Muslims.” Follow live updates
TMC rebels accuse Abhishek Banerjee of stifling dissent after post-poll defeat
Expelled Trinamool Congress MLA Sandipan Saha alleged that dissent within the party was suppressed after its electoral defeat, claiming legislators were instructed not to criticise national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and instead applaud his leadership.
