Dinesh Vijan takes a dig at Shahid Kapoor’s love life before he married Mira

Dinesh Vijan takes a dig at Shahid Kapoor's love life before he married Mira Rajput: 'Not love triangle but a hexagon.”

The trailer launch of ‘Cocktail 2’, starring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon, turned into a fun-filled affair in Mumbai on Tuesday. While the cast candidly opened up about first love, crushes, and love triangles, it was producer Dinesh Vijan’s cheeky comment about Shahid Kapoor’s dating history that became one of the highlights of the event.During an interactive session with the media, the actors were asked about their first experiences with love. Sharing her thoughts, Kriti Sanon reflected on young romance and said, “At that time you feel you are in love, but later feel it wasn’t love.”Rashmika Mandanna, meanwhile, chose not to revisit her past when the same question was posed to her. Smiling, she replied, “I am very happy being married right now, so I shouldn’t backtrack. I am very happy in the present.”The conversation then shifted to love triangles, prompting some candid confessions from the cast. While Rashmika said she had never found herself in such a situation, Kriti admitted she had experienced something similar during her school days.Recalling the incident, Kriti said, “When I was in school, I had a crush on my really close friend’s crush. I didn’t really do much about it. It was good I didn’t go for it as that guy turned out to be a bit of a red-flag.” When Shahid Kapoor was asked the same question, he appeared to tread carefully with his response. However, before he could say much, producer Dinesh Vijan jumped in with a playful jab, leaving everyone in splits. “Shahid has gotten stuck in a couple of triangles. In fact, he didn’t do a triangle but a hexagon.”Shahid was quick to respond with his trademark wit, saying, “It was a circle started from the same place and ended at the same place.”The lighthearted exchange drew laughter from the audience and added to the lively atmosphere of the event.Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput in 2015. Before his marriage, the actor was often linked to several of his co-stars, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vidya Balan, and Priyanka Chopra.
