KSI shocked fans when he announced he was leaving Sidemen after being part of the group for 13 years. Since then, people have been trying to understand what really pushed him to make such a huge decision. Now, a recent video from the YouTuber has given fans a clearer picture of what may have been happening behind the scenes. In a video uploaded on his KSI+ YouTube channel, JJ, whose real name is Olajide Olatunji, spoke honestly about feeling overwhelmed with work and personal responsibilities. He admitted that he has been “struggling time-wise” because his schedule has become too packed. The comments quickly spread across social media, with many fans connecting them to his Sidemen departure. While KSI never directly said that stress caused him to leave the group, his words made many people believe burnout and lack of personal time played a big part in the decision.

KSI says family, work pressure, and lack of personal time changed his mindset after leaving Sidemen

During the video, KSI explained that he has been handling too many things at once. Along with running his own YouTube channel, he has also been involved with Sidemen projects, music work, Britain’s Got Talent, Baller League, and several business commitments. He said his calendar has become so busy that people would probably question how he even gets time to relax. KSI also revealed that he is not expected to get a proper holiday until the end of September or October. That detail surprised many viewers because it showed how nonstop his life has become over the years.Fans on X reacted quickly after clips from the video started circulating online. Some people felt his comments finally explained why he stepped away from Sidemen, while others were still shocked that he chose to leave after spending more than a decade with the group.Later in the same video, KSI shared a more emotional moment while talking about his mother’s 60th birthday celebration. He admitted that over the last 10 years, he has barely spent enough time with his parents because of work. According to him, realizing that made him rethink how he has been living.KSI also mentioned his girlfriend and said he does not want work to become the only important thing in his life. He explained that success means very little if there is no time left for family or personal happiness.Even though KSI never officially confirmed that these struggles caused his Sidemen exit, fans now believe his recent comments gave the clearest explanation yet behind the life-changing decision.
