‘Love Island’ is back again with yet another brand-new season, with a couple of single people getting together on the Spanish island. This year’s version of the show is going to come with a twist, and with only a few hours to go, there are some things that you need to know before tuning in to the first episode.

When and where to watch ‘Love Island 2026’

The 13th season of ‘Love Island’ is all set and ready to air on ITVX in the UK, TVNZ+ in New Zealand, and 9Now in Australia. The show is also going to be available for streaming on the OTT platform Hulu. This year as well, Maya Jama and Iain Stirling will be returning as the dynamic duo hosting the singletons through life in the villa.The first episode aired at 9 pm on Monday, June 1, BST.

Who are the cast members for ‘Love Island 2026’

This year’s contestant list looks promising and has already raised the excitement levels. It includes Ope, who is a 27-year-old West End performer, Jasmine, a 27-year-old business owner, Aidan, a 23-year-old property broker, Lola, a 28-year-old detective, Samuel, a 25-year-old electrician, Angelista, a 24-year-old Nurse, Samraj, a 25-year-old model, Ellie, a 24-year-old real estate videographer, Sean, a 25-year-old primary school teacher, Robyn, a 21-year-old quantity surveyor and DJ, Lorenzo, a 28-year-old business owner, and Mica, a 21-year-old student.

What is the twist for this year’s ‘Love Island 2026’

While most of the show’s concept has been kept under wraps, the teaser photos have given way to what the theme for this year is going to be. The teasers show a locker room theme, which goes hand in hand with the ongoing FIFA craze.Manchester Evening News reported that the show’s creator, Lewis Evans, wants to bring something new this year. She cited in a statement that, “This year, we’re hoping that there won’t just be gameplay on the pitch, but there will also be some gameplay in the villa… We’re going to play into that this year. I can’t say too much, but the first step is that we’re changing things. We’re doing something that we’ve never done before in the history of Love Island.
