Middle East Tensions: Israel Captures Strategic Beaufort Castle in Southern Lebanon

Iran strongly criticized Israel’s military operations in Lebanon and Gaza and announced that it is suspending ongoing indirect or backchannel talks with the United States. According to Iranian state media, Tehran stated that no peace negotiations will resume until Israel halts its military campaigns and the conditions for a ceasefire are met. Iran also warned that it is considering renewed restrictions on key maritime routes, including the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
