‘Param Sundari’ mints Rs 46 crore amid competition

'Param Sundari' box office collection day 10: Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s film mints Rs 46 crore amid competition from 'Baaghi 4', 'The Bengal Files’

With a mix of romance, comedy, and drama, ‘Param Sundari’ made it to the box office on August 29. Headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, the movie had a decent opening at the box office. With a fair share of highs and lows, the movie tried to maintain momentum in the first week. And in the second week, despite tough competition from Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 4,’ Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Bengal Files’ and the latest Hollywood horror thriller ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites,’ the movie is trying not to lose its grip.

‘Param Sundari’ box office collection day 10 update

The early estimate shows that ‘Param Sundari’ earned Rs. 2.50 crore on its second Sunday, according to the Sacnilk report. The movie entered its second weekend with a drop, as it minted only Rs. 1.75 crore on Friday. Thereafter, Saturday saw slight growth as it touched Rs. 2 crore net in India collection. With this, the total net collection of ‘Param Sundari’ after 10 days has come to Rs. 46 crore.

Reaching the Rs 50 crore milestone amid competition

At this pace, the movie is expected to soar past the Rs 50 crore mark by the end of its second week. However, with competition from multiple movies, from across different genres, this race to reach the Rs 50 crore mark would not be easy. Trade reports show that business in the debut weekend for ‘The Bengal Files’ stayed under Rs 10 crore, whereas ‘Baaghi 4’ crossed the Rs 30 crore mark in 3 days, and ‘The Conjuring: Last Rights’ already reached the Rs. 50 crore mark in India.
