Malayalam action thriller ‘Kattalan’ has finally arrived in theatres, and social media is already buzzing with first reactions from audiences. Headlined by Antony Varghese, the film opened amid strong expectations because of its reported links to the world established in Marco. Directed by debutant Paul George, the film revolves around ivory smuggling, gang rivalries, and violent conflicts.

Unni Mukundan earlier issued clarification
Meanwhile, actor Unni Mukundan had earlier clarified that he is not associated with ‘Kattalan’ or any connected cinematic universe despite ongoing online speculation.A statement shared through the actor’s production banner read, “We would like to kindly clarify that Unni Mukundan is not a part of this project or any universe. We humbly request our fans and the public to refrain from questioning us further regarding any association with the concerned project.”Apart from Antony Varghese Pepe, the film also stars Dushara Vijayan, Jagadish, Siddique, Kabir Duhan Singh and Anson Paul in important roles.
