Ozzy Osbourne’s AI hologram to circulate this year

Ozzy Osbourne’s AI avatar to be set up in the US and UK this year: ‘People can talk to him, and he will talk back’

Ozzy Osbourne’s passing was a big shock to the entertainment industry. As a year has gone by, fans of the famed star may be able to catch a glimpse of the superstar once more. As per the latest reports, soon, an AI hologram version of Osbourne is going to be set up, which will allow the public to meet the late star in an augmented reality setting.

Ozzy Osbourne to be revived through AI hologram

The BBC reported that while attending the 2026 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Sharon Osbourne and son Jack Osbourne shared the news of the AI project with the world. They revealed that this move is being made in order to preserve Osbourne’s legacy.“You can ask Ozzy anything, and he will answer you in his own voice – and the answers will be what Ozzy would have said,” Sharon revealed during the event, citing that the hologram will be able to use Osbourne’s actual voice and personality to answer fan questions in real time. The hologram will not be situated in only one venue, with the family having plans for establishing it across the world. During the event, Sharon added, “We’re going to take it all around the world. People can talk to him, and he will talk back.”The project is being developed by two tech giants, who will be using the legend’s voice, image, and movement in order to bring the AI hologram to life. His son, Jack, described the project as ‘scary’ and added that, “It’s kind of scary how it’s really very accurate,” Jack Osbourne said during the expo panel. “He will exist digitally as himself for as long as we have computers.”Another report from Forbes read that the specific locations of the hologram have not been unveiled yet, but there are other details that have been shared. One is the fact that the program will be released across various locations in the US, as well as the United Kingdom. It has also been confirmed that fans and netizens alike will be able to use interactive touchscreens in order to interact with Ozzy Osbourne.

Netizens react

As soon as the news was shared online, fans and netizens alike shared their reactions to the news. Many expressed disdain over the matter and cited that this is something that Ozzy would not have wished for. One person’s comment about the same read, “Wow! A year hasn’t even passed since Ozzy’s passing, and they are already trying to commercialize and profit from his memory.”Another person shared, “It has only been a year, why are they doing this?” Another social media user posted that “Sharon Osbourne still squeezing money out of Ozzy. Even after his death. Shameful & distasteful, but on par how Sharon thinks & has done for the last 25 years.”The famed singer and songwriter passed away a year ago, on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. Go to Source
