Telugu actor Adivi Sesh recently opened up about a memorable story about his first encounter with Hindi cinema legend Amitabh Bachchan. Sesh shared a moment of regret from his early acting days—choosing not to take a photo with the megastar. In a recent interview, he revealed the real reason behind his decision and the lasting impression it left.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Adivi Sesh was quizzed about his first celebrity encounter while he was still an aspiring actor. The Telugu star mentioned Amitabh Bachchan’s name. He added that the Bollywood icon was attending the FIA Indian Mela in Fremont, California. The ‘Major’ actor added that Sr. Bachchan was a “distinguished guest” at the event and everyone around him was eager to click pictures and shake hands with him.During the interview, Adivi Sesh explained, “Sab photo le rahe the aur main sochne laga, I want to do what Big B is doing. (Everyone is clicking pictures, and I thought I want to do what Amitabh Bachchan is doing).” He added, “I don’t want to stand beside him,” he said. The actor further shared, “So, I thought I was being some cool rebel… ki mene photo nahi liya (that I didn’t click any picture).”Adivi Sesh expressed that his desire was not just to meet the star but to achieve the same level of success and artistry. However, Sesh now looks back with a hint of sadness. He concluded, “So, I genuinely regret not having that picture now.”

Adivi Sesh on the work front

Adivi Sesh will next feature in the pan-India movie, ‘Dacoit: A Love Story’. He also has the highly anticipated sequel, G2. The actor was last featured in a cameo in ‘HIT: The Third Case’, starring Nani in the lead. The film was released on May 1, 2025.
