Those keeping up with Ben Affleck’s personal life, were in for a spin over the weekend, with the actor and his family pulling off another surprising outing.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reunite
Affleck, who has been juggling his time between work commitments, was seen smiling away as he met up with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their kids for a movie date night. In photos shared by TMZ, Affleck was seen smiling widely as he met Garner in the parking lot of a Los Angeles cinema with their teenage children Seraphina and Samuel, 13.
The family kept their look casual and appeared in high spirits, chatting ans smiling as they made their way into the building. Also seen joining the happy bunch, was Affleck’s mother, Chris Bolt.
JLo bond with Ben’s son Samuel
While the family seemed to have enjoyed their time together, Affleck’s youngest child, son Samuel, was seen having a rather busy Saturday, as he met up with former step-mom Jennifer Lopez for a day out. In the viral photos, Lopez was seen treating Affleck’s son Samuel to lunch and shopping the following day. The outing raised eyebrows, considering that it was the first time that Sam was seen out on a solo trip with JLo and her child Emme, as they headed into luxury boutiques and stopped for lunch. After speding the day together, JLo was seen opening up the car door for the kids before driving off.
Affleck and Lopez’s divorce
The outings come following Ben and JLo’s divorce. The couple, who was married for two years, decided to part ways after separating only a year after their grand nuptials.
Ben’s growing closeness with Jen Garner
Since their divorce, Ben has been seen out and about with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their three kids. The actor reportedly moved into a bachelor pad close to Garner’s house to ensure he gets to spend more time with the children, and even accompanied them for their school games and other fun activities. The family was last spotted making a joint appearance at a Red Sox game in July. His growing closeness to Garner has often fuelled speculation that the two may just be ready to give their relationship another shot, however, as per reports, the actress’s relationship with businessman John Miller is going strong.
