Bollywood stars are no strangers to grand homes, but few residences rival the sheer scale and elegance of Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s Kinara mansion in Juhu. Valued at an estimated Rs 100 crore, the two-storey, sea-facing property combines modern sophistication with timeless grandeur. For the first time, fans were given an intimate tour of the home in filmmaker Farah Khan’s YouTube vlog.

The First Impression: A Golden Welcome

The mansion’s main entrance sets the tone for the lavish interiors within. A striking black door inlaid with gold lotus motifs opens into a porch lined with wooden flooring, flanked by silver elephant statues – symbols of protection in Feng Shui. Inside, the entrance hall unfolds like a gallery, adorned with antique mirrors, statement chandeliers, and unique artwork. Rich wooden accents, designer seating, and LED-lit ceilings lend the space an air of understated opulence.

Luxe Living Spaces

The first floor is divided into two distinct lounges: one a formal entertaining space with neutral-toned designer couches, the other a warm, family-style room accented with an orange-and-gold palette. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite ample natural light, enhancing the airy aesthetic. Among the standout pieces is a life-size wooden horse sculpture, which is an audacious touch that reflects the family’s taste for bold décor. Completing the luxe setup is a sleek, modern bar corner and a fully equipped gym, the latter revealed by Farah Khan as the secret to Shilpa’s enduring fitness.

The Palatial Second Floor

A green leather-clad private lift transports visitors to the second floor, which radiates palatial charm. The centrepiece here is a striking indoor fountain set against a glass floor, framed by plush white sofas and expansive open spaces. The design blends regal inspiration with contemporary comfort, creating a serene yet show-stopping ambience. The kitchen, meanwhile, adds a playful twist with its neon green-and-white finish, complemented by a flourishing outdoor kitchen garden where Shetty grows her own vegetables.

More Than a Home, A Lifestyle Statement

Kinara is more than just a residence. It’s a testament to Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s taste for luxury living by the sea. Every element, from bespoke décor to wellness-oriented design, reflects a lifestyle built on elegance, exclusivity, and personal expression. While Shetty recently made headlines for the closure of her restaurant Bastian, her Juhu mansion continues to stand as one of Bollywood’s most talked-about luxury estates.
