CBSE Alert: CBSE Provides Original Physics Answer Sheet After Complaint

The coverage by ABP News has led to a significant outcome in the CBSE on-screen marking controversy involving Delhi student Vedant Shrivastava. Earlier, Vedant had alleged that the Physics answer sheet provided to him by the Central Board of Secondary Education was not his original copy. Following ABP News reporting, the board reviewed the complaint and provided him with his correct answer sheet in PDF format. After receiving the original copy, Vedant’s Physics marks increased from 65 to 74 out of 100, improving his overall Class 12 percentage from around 74% to nearly 77%. Vedant expressed relief and happiness, stating that he finally felt his concerns were addressed after days of stress. He also thanked ABP News and CBSE for resolving the issue quickly. The case initially raised serious concerns about the reliability of CBSE’s on-screen marking system, with questions over handwriting mismatch and evaluation errors. Following media intervention, CBSE reportedly took immediate action and corrected the issue. Vedant’s family also expressed gratitude and indicated they may consider further re-evaluation options in the future.
