The court directed both the victim’s family and the accused side to refrain from making any public statements and to cooperate fully with the investigating agency instead. It emphasized that media trials should be avoided so that the investigation remains fair and unbiased. The Court also expressed confidence in the CBI’s ability to conduct a proper and impartial probe. Meanwhile, the case is also moving through lower courts, including the Madhya Pradesh High Court and district court, where hearings related to anticipatory bail and preservation of evidence such as CCTV footage and call records are underway.
