Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s love story is one that fans never get tired of hearing. The cricketer has often credited his wife and Bollywood star for making him a better human being and once he also spoke about how she helped in changing his temperament. He praised the ‘Rab Ne Bani Di Jodi’ actress for making fearless choices in life and her career.

Virat explained how Anushka reads him instantly

In 2020, Virat appeared on a live Instagram video chat with India off-spinner R Ashwin, where they had a candid chat on various topics. During the conversation, when Ashwin asked about his understanding with Anushka, Virat said, “Anushka can understand my mindset and vice-versa. When two people are on the same wavelength those conversations become easier. She understands exactly what I’m saying without even me talking, just by looking at my body language.”

He learnt trust instincts from Anushka

Ashwin further questioned Virat on his ability to make decisions on the field. The India skipper explained how he has learnt from his wife to trust instincts and do the same.Virat added, “Her making choice of what she wants to do, as an actor, producer, comes from the right place. She is a person who always does the right thing. She follows her gut and instinct, and follows it to the T. She is absolutely fearless. And that is the key. To have that feeling of doing the right thing and then, whatever happens, left, right, center, you are not bothered by it.”

Virat admires her strength amid negativity

Virat Kohli expressed admiration for Anushka Sharma’s strength, noting that despite facing a lot of negativity, she is strong enough to overcome it. He observed her resilience and has learned from her example, applying those lessons of strength and fearlessness in his own life, both on and off the field.

About Virat and Anushka’s relationship

Virat and Anushka got married on 11 December 2017. Their wedding was a small and beautiful ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, attended by close family and friends. Their love continued to grow as they welcomed their daughter Vamika on 11 January 2021. Then, on 15 February 2024, they became parents again with the birth of their son Akaay.

Anushka’s strong performances earned wide recognition

Anushka has always been known for her strong performances in films like ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, ‘PK’, ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, ‘Sultan’, and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Her last major film role was in 2018’s ‘Zero’, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.After that, she stepped away from the big screen for a while. However, she made a short appearance in the 2022 OTT film ‘Qala’, appearing in the song ‘Ghodey Pe Sawaar’, which fans loved as a sweet surprise.
