‘The Batman: Part 2’: Robert Pattinson’s film crew checks Liverpool

'The Batman: Part 2': Robert Pattinson's film crew checks Liverpool for upcoming action shoot with cars

Gotham is screeching with an expected action sequence with police cars and yellow taxis on the streets. With a full-blown technical crew and a camera that desired to pan an extensive shoot, the crew was spotted shooting in Liverpool, United Kingdom, giving the first glimpse of the sequel to ‘The Batman,’ starring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz.

Cars in Gotham City: First look at the expected action sequence

In 2020, Robert Pattinson’s character caused tremors across the globe with his striking portrayal, earning millions of dollars at the box office. Earlier this week, the production crew was spotted outside of St. George’s Hall and at the Queensway Tunnel. The snapshots quickly caused buzz amongst the hardcore fans. Liverpool was also the main location for the previously released hit film. However, the Local Democracy Reporting Service stated that this crew was performing a recce rather than a final shoot, which is likely to happen in the next month. Official shooting locations have not been revealed, according to the BBC. Directed by Matt Reeves, Scarlett Johansson and Charles Dance will also be joining the cast of ‘The Batman: Part II.’

Is there an official new logo for the film?

As the hints dropped even more, there were even more speculations with a distinct photo. While it was previously confirmed that the sequel will have an underlying theme of winter, the new pictures show that the aesthetics have changed from red to blue, denoting the chill of winter, according to The Direct. In one of the crew setups, the logo had a blue background with a white outline around the circle, along with the Batman logo in black. The sequel will likely be hitting the silver screen on October 1, 2027. As for the first part, it is available on Netflix.
