Breaking News: Massive Fire Breaks Out in Delhi’s Shastri Park Furniture Market

A massive fire broke out late at night in the famous furniture market of Shastri Park in Delhi, causing panic in the surrounding areas. The flames were so intense that they could be seen from several kilometers away. Several furniture shops were completely destroyed, and goods worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes. According to reports, the fire brigade received a call around midnight and rushed multiple fire tenders to the spot. However, angry locals alleged that the fire engines arrived late. Frustrated residents pelted stones at the fire brigade vehicles, damaging some of them. Police later reached the scene, controlled the crowd, and helped firefighters continue rescue operations. Around 25 fire tenders were deployed to bring the blaze under control. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown, though locals suspect a short circuit may have triggered it. Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and assess the total damage caused in the market.
