Maa Behen trailer: Madhuri and Triptii face chaos in the film

‘Maa Behen’ trailer: Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri face chaos in their upcoming family-drama

Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga star in Maa Behen, a chaotic family drama directed by Suresh Triveni. The trailer shows conflict, crime, and comedy after a sudden death. Ravi Kishan and others join the cast. The film streams on Netflix on June 4.

Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and influencer Dharna Durga are coming together for the upcoming film ‘Maa Behen’. The makers dropped the trailer on Friday, giving viewers a peek into its chaotic and quirky storyline. The film also stars Ravi Kishan and is helmed by Suresh Triveni.

‘Maa Behen’ trailer introduces a chaotic family story

The trailer begins with Madhuri as Rekha criticizing her daughter, Jaya, played by Triptii, over her decision to sell her jewellery. The situation quickly intensifies when Sushma, portrayed by Dharna Durga, tells Rekha that her actions have caused trouble for the family. Jaya then confronts her mother about her flirtatious behaviour despite being widowed for several years. The trailer further shows neighbour Gupta Ji, played by Ravi Kishan, expressing interest in Rekha.

‘Maa Behen’ trailer takes a dark comic turn

However, it quickly turns from funny to serious when Gupta Ji suddenly dies inside Rekha’s house. Shocked, Rekha calls her daughters late at night and asks them to help hide the body. The three women end up arguing, panicking, and trying to manage the situation while keeping it a secret from their neighbours. Soon, the search for Gupta Ji begins, led by his wife, played by Geetanjali Kulkarni. A police officer, played by Arunoday Singh, also joins the case, making things even more difficult for them. As reported in Hindustan Times, Madhuri said, “Rekha is not your typical Hindi cinema mother, and that’s exactly what made the character so exciting for me. As an actor, it’s incredibly rewarding to explore layered, unpredictable roles that challenge the audience’s expectations. Rekha may not be a perfect mother, but like any mother, she wants the best for her daughters and tries to hold her family together amidst all the chaos.”

‘Maa Behen’ set for Netflix release

Produced by Abundantia Entertainment in collaboration with Opening Image Films and directed by Suresh Triveni, the film blends elements of family drama, crime, and comedy. ‘Maa Behen’ will premiere on Netflix on June 4. Go to Source
