Controversial streamer Dalton Eatherly is facing strict new bond conditions after a judge set rules for his possible release from custody. The decision follows serious charges linked to a courthouse shooting incident. Authorities say the restrictions are needed to closely monitor him and reduce any risk if he is allowed to leave jail during the ongoing case. The court order places heavy limits on his movement and communication. If he is released on bond, he will be tracked electronically and blocked from speaking publicly about the case. Officials say these conditions are important because of the seriousness of the allegations and earlier concerns raised in court.

Judge sets strict bond rules for ChudTheBuilder including GPS monitor and social media restrictions

The judge ruled that if ChudTheBuilder is released on bond, he must wear a GPS ankle monitor at all times. This will allow authorities to track his location and ensure he follows all restrictions. He will also have to surrender all weapons, meaning he cannot legally possess firearms during his release. He must also comply with all check-ins and follow any additional conditions set by the court without fail. The court also imposed strong communication limits. He will not be allowed to give interviews or speak to the media about the case. In addition, he is banned from posting anything related to the incident on social media. Officials say this is to prevent public influence and protect the legal process. The charges against him include attempted criminal homicide and multiple firearm-related offenses. Prosecutors argue that strict supervision is necessary to ensure public safety while the case continues. If bond is approved, these rules will take effect immediately. As of now, he remains in custody and has not posted bond. He is expected to return to court for a preliminary hearing later this month. In simple terms, if he gets out of jail, he will be watched with a tracking device, must give up weapons, and cannot talk about the case online or in interviews. He will also have to strictly follow all court instructions without any exceptions during his release period.
