Dhurandhar singer Jasmine Sandlas pauses Dehradun concert after barricade collapse near audience area; urges team to prioritise safety

Playback singer Jasmine Sandlas recently witnessed a tense moment during her concert in Dehradun after a section of the barricading near the audience area reportedly collapsed, causing chaos at the venue for a brief period.According to eyewitnesses present at the concert, several attendees standing near the front lost balance and fell after the barricade gave way. The incident prompted organisers to immediately pause the event as security personnel rushed to control the situation.

Jasmine Sandlas stops performance midway

As per IANS, the singer, known for popular tracks like Illegal Weapon 2.0 and Jaiye Sajana, noticed the disturbance unfolding from the stage and instantly stopped her performance to address the situation.Expressing concern for the audience, Jasmine instructed her internal team and on-ground staff to immediately take charge and ensure everyone’s safety.“I am so sorry guys, this is happening. Can my internal team take this over? I want my entire internal team to take this over. These security guys are very aggressive. I want my team to solve this immediately,” the singer said from the stage.Eyewitnesses also claimed that Jasmine appeared visibly worried and was heard chanting “Waheguru” while efforts were underway to bring the situation under control.

Singer urges security to handle crowd carefully

Prioritising audience safety over the concert, Jasmine reportedly urged the security staff to deal with the crowd sensitively and ensure that no one was injured during the commotion. She also apologised to attendees for the disruption and repeatedly asked her team to check on people near the barricade before resuming the performance.Videos from the venue showing the sudden chaos and Jasmine’s reaction have since surfaced on social media, with several fans praising the singer for immediately stepping in and handling the situation calmly. On the work front, Jasmine Sandlas recently found major success with her song Jaiye Sajana from Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh. The film, a sequel to Dhurandhar, reportedly performed exceptionally well at the box office and emerged as one of the biggest commercial successes of the year.
