Renault India has announced a major price reduction across its entire vehicle range, with savings of up to ₹96,000 being passed directly to customers. The move, which fully absorbs the benefits of a new GST 2.0 policy, aims to make the brand’s cars more accessible and affordable ahead of India’s festive season.

Effective from September 22, coinciding with the start of Navratri, the new prices will be applied to all deliveries. However, potential buyers can book their vehicles at the reduced rate from Saturday onwards, according to the official statement.

The company’s managing director, Venkatram Mamillapalle, said the initiative was a “reflection of our unwavering commitment to our customers.” He added that the timely move would not only make Renault’s cars “more accessible” but also “energize demand during the festive season.”

The significant price cut means the popular KWID model now starts at just ₹4.29 lakh, while the Triber and Kiger models begin at ₹5.76 lakh. The Kiger’s top-end variant sees the largest reduction, with a price cut of ₹96,395. The price reductions are expected to boost sales and enhance the value proposition of the entire Renault product line-up.
