By edging past Mission: Impossible, The Conjuring has reaffirmed Hollywood’s diverse box office draw in India, where action spectacles typically dominate. It has also outperformed the opening benchmarks set by other major Hollywood titles in 2025 like Scarlett Johansson’s Jurassic World: Rebirth and Brad Pitt’s F1 both enjoyed phenomenal runs at the Indian box office, crossing the coveted Rs 100 crore mark. While Jurassic World was the makers attempt to reboot the series with the biggest action female star Scarlett Johansson, it tapped into nostalgia while Brad Pitt’s F1 played on adrenaline rush and star power. The Conjuring has already taken the biggest opening this Friday beating other indian titles like Tiger Shroff’s Baahi 4, Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files and Ansuhka Shetty’s Ghaati.
