Trisha Krishnan once again grabbed attention amid ongoing dating rumours with Vijay after her latest public appearance in Chennai. The actress was seen blushing and smiling when a fan asked her to convey regards to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, further fuelling speculation around their rumoured relationship. Though neither Vijay nor Trisha has addressed the speculation publicly, fans continue to closely track their appearances and interactions.Amid the buzz, Trisha Krishnan attended the screening of her latest release Karuppu in Chennai on Friday, May 15, along with director RJ Balaji and actor Karthi.The morning show at Rohini Theatre reportedly witnessed a packed crowd of fans. While exiting the theatre, Trisha was seated inside her car dressed casually in a black T-shirt and jeans when fans surrounded the vehicle to greet her.During the interaction, one fan was heard saying, “Send my regards to Thalapathy Vijay.”Reacting to the remark, Trisha smiled and replied, “Definitely.” Soon after, she lowered her head and briefly looked at her phone, appearing visibly shy at the mention of her rumoured partner. Videos of the moment have now gone viral across social media platforms.The actress continued waving at fans while smiling throughout the interaction.

Trisha attended Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony

The viral moment comes days after Trisha Krishnan attended Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on May 10 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium following his party’s sweeping victory in the 2026 Assembly elections.Trisha attended the event with her mother Uma Krishnan and was seen witnessing the ceremony alongside Vijay’s family members and several prominent guests.Last week too, the actress attracted attention after visiting Vijay’s Neelankarai residence shortly after the election results were announced. Interestingly, the visit coincided with Trisha’s 43rd birthday.

Trisha and Vijay’s personal lives

Trisha Krishnan was previously engaged to businessman Varun Manian in 2015, but the engagement was called off later the same year.Vijay married Sangeeta Sornalingam in a traditional ceremony in the UK in 1998 and again in India in 1999. The couple have two children — Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha.
