After Robin Williams’ passing, the distribution of his estate was a big issue. Following his passing eleven years ago, his widow, Susan Robbins, as well as his three children from previous marriages, were involved in a legal dispute over his estate’s distribution. How Susan Williams and Robin Williams’ three children settled the estate dispute

The actor’s wife and his three children from previous marriages, Zachary ‘Zak’ Williams, Zelda Williams, and Cody Alan Williams, had been involved in a legal dispute that went on for a year after the actor’s passing in 2014. However, an old report from The Guardian revealed that all of the people involved in the case of officially reached an agreement that they were all satisfied and happy with.As per the report, Susan was able to live in the Bay Area house that she and the actor resided in up until his passing. Along with that, she was also allotted a watch that he used to wear a lot, along with the bike that they bought on their honeymoon, as well as the wedding presents that they received. It was also reported that she would get settlement money for the rest of her life to manage the house as well.A statement from her legal representative at the time read, “Susan gets to enforce Robin’s wishes. She gets to stay in the house as Robin wanted, with the trust being created to pay the expenses.”

Why did the legal dispute begin

The dispute began when the ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ actor’s wife, Susan, filed for a petition that all of the things in the Bay Area home be excluded from the things left to his children in his will. At the time, she also alleged that some of the things and some of his personal belongings had been taken from the house without her consent. The items in this dispute were watches, memorabilia, his wedding tuxedo, and photographs from his 60th birthday.Robin Williams passed away in August 2014 due to suicide. His demise sent shockwaves through the industry, as he was widely regarded as one of the most revered actors of all time and highly praised for his diverse roles.
