US President Donald Trump lashed out at Democrats on Friday in a lengthy post on Truth Social, accusing them of reviving the Epstein case for political gain. Responding to growing calls for the release of information related to the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case, Trump described the issue as a “Democrat Epstein Hoax” and claimed that Republicans are the ones conducting a real investigation.

“The Department of Justice has done its job, they have given everything requested of them. It’s time to end the Democrat Epstein Hoax, and give the Republicans credit for the great, even legendary job that they are doing,” Trump wrote.

Trump also accused Democrats of being closely associated with Epstein during his lifetime, blaming them for befriending and socialising with the convicted sex offender. “The confused and badly failing Democrat Party did nothing about Jeffrey Epstein while he was alive except befriend him, socialise with him, travel to his Island, and take his money! They knew everything there was to know about Epstein, but now, years after his death, they, out of nowhere, are seeming to show such love and heartfelt concern for his victims,” he said.

Trump’s remarks came after a press conference on Capitol Hill, where a group of Epstein’s survivors spoke publicly and demanded the release of the so-called Epstein list. The renewed calls have stirred political debate over transparency and justice in the case.

While Trump had previously promised to release the Epstein Files if re-elected, his administration’s position changed after returning to office. In July, the Department of Justice issued a memo stating there is no existing Epstein list naming his clients. The same memo also dismissed widespread speculation around Epstein’s death, confirming it as a suicide.

In his post, Trump suggested that the Democratic Party is exploiting the case in an attempt to boost their political standing. “The now dying (after the DOJ gave thousands of pages of documents in full compliance with a very comprehensive and exacting Subpoena from Congress!) Epstein case was only brought back to life by the Radical Left Democrats because they are doing so poorly, with the lowest poll numbers in the history of the Party (16%),” he stated.

Trump concluded by urging the public to reject what he sees as politically motivated attacks. “End the Democrat Epstein Hoax,” he wrote.
