Production on ‘A Quiet Place Part III’, has officially kicked off with filmmaker John Krasinski confirming the news on social media.Krasinski, who returns as the writer, director, and producer of the latest instalment in the post-apocalyptic horror franchise, shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set in New York City on Instagram Sunday. The image featured a clapperboard placed in front of the Manhattan Bridge Arch and Colonnade in Chinatown. “Here. We. Go! #Part III,” he captioned the post, sparking excitement among fans.John Krasinski shares a production update New York streets turned into film setsBesides the director dropping the first photos from the sets, NY locals took to social media to share some chaotic behind-the-scenes videos from the sets that saw a large group of extras frantically running down various streets, corded off for the shoot. ‘A Quiet Place III’ linked to ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’The upcoming sequel marks the fourth film in the ‘A Quiet Place’ saga. The original film debuted in 2018 and was followed by ‘A Quiet Place Part II’ in 2021. In 2024, the franchise expanded with prequel ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’, starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.The decision to return to New York City to film the third part, has fuelled speculation that the new film could further explore the aftermath of the alien invasion introduced in the prequel. Part III will bring back Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe in lead roles. New additions to the franchise include Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke and Katy O’Brian. ‘A Quiet Place Part III’ release date’A Quiet Place Part III’ that is scheduled to hit theatres on July 30, 2027, is reportedly the final instalment in the saga and will serve as the final chapter for the characters introduced in the original movies. Reports suggest that the film could come to an emotional conclusion, either with all the characters meeting their end or a climactic conclusion that could give way to another spinoff.
