Mercedes-Benz India has completed the first year of its new Long Wheelbase (LWB) E-Class sedan. To mark the anniversary, the German automaker has introduced a new “Verde Silver” paint option across the E200, E220d and E450 4MATIC variants.
The sixth-generation E-Class, launched in October 2024 after being showcased a month earlier, has sold more than 62,000 units in India, the company said in a statement.
The Verde Silver edition is priced at ₹78.5 lakh for the E200, ₹80.5 lakh for the E220d and ₹91.7 lakh for the E450 4MATIC AMG Line after the implementation of GST 2.0. According to the company, customers are now benefiting from price reductions of up to ₹6 lakh compared with earlier pricing.
The model includes an updated MBUX Superscreen infotainment system with AI-enabled personalisation, enhanced rear-seat comfort features such as reclining seats and sun blinds, and a suspension tuned for Indian roads.
Safety upgrades include eight airbags, among them a first-ever centre airbag in the segment, as well as Blind Spot Assist and PRE-SAFE occupant protection.
