'Bhooth Bangla' box office collection Day 22: Akshay Kumar's film heads for Rs 235 crore global gross amid 'Raja Shivaji' fever

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ has completed three weeks in theatres. The movie has been earning low but steady numbers at the box office after it entered its third week in cinemas. The horror comedy grossed over Rs 200 crore in 14 days and is now inching towards a new milestone. Despite new releases, the Akshay Kumar starrer has been adding substantial amount to its overall collection every day.

‘Bhooth Bangla’ box office collection Day 22

The Priyadarshan directorial earned Rs 84.40 crore in its first week at theatres. The second week added another Rs 43.75 crore to its net collections. The movie wrapped up week three with Rs 21.85 crore. Now, according to the Sacnilk report, on Day 22 (fourth Friday), the film has minted Rs 1.75 crore across 3939 shows.This has pushed the total India gross collection to Rs 180.06 crore, while the total India net earnings have reached Rs 151.75 crore.

‘Bhooth Bangla’ worldwide collection

The Akshay Kumar–Priyadarshan collaboration has netted Rs 0.10 crore (10 lakhs) overseas on Day 22. With that, the total overseas gross now stands at Rs 52.95 crore. Hence, the total worldwide gross collection has become Rs 233.01 crore.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. It also features Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, Mithila Palkar, Rajesh Yadav, and the late Asrani.The movie is Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan’s seventh movie together.
