‘Legends’ is a recently released OTT thriller series revolving around the drug trade. Created by none other than Neil Forsyth, the story revolves around a team of Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise employees who are sent on an undercover operation. They are given new identities and told to infiltrate one of the biggest and most dangerous drug gangs in Britain in order to nullify and end their operations from within. ‘Legends’ ending explained

The ending of the hit series revolves around the undercover operations led by the customs employees and how they plan on bringing down the drug ring run by Carter and Hakan. With a plan to smuggle around 200 KG of heroin, the team has a lot at stake. On top of that, Carter ends up finding out that Eddie has been helping the authorities and feeding them information all along, and gives his men orders to kill him.Hakan also starts getting suspicious of Guy, and later orders for him to be removed from their latest job. To stay safe, the gang changes their plans, and instead plans to smuggle the drugs through Germany first before moving them into UK.

Guy tries to settle back in his everyday life before everything

When Guy returns, he is suspended from active duty for the time being. While he adjusts back to normal life and his partner, Sophie, and their daughter, he ends up having a hard time dealing with the sudden change of coming back to normal life after being undercover for so long. When the trio goes to a nearby Zoo and a Turkish gang member remembers who he is, Guy has to keep away from his family. Sophie, seeing all of this, tells him to complete the mission first and to stay away from her and their daughter until everything has been dealt with.

The operation gets shut down

Meanwhile, the authorities decide that it is too risky to keep the undercover operation going. As they try to shut the program down, Blake convinces everyone that they should at least be given the chance to complete the mission before the operations are entirely cancelled. Without any extra funding or resources, Erin, Bailey, and Kate successfully infiltrate and stop the gang’s route in Germany, while Guy joins the team to finally bring the mission to an end and stop Carter and Hakan’s gang.

Carter and Hakan’s fate

Nearing the end, Guy delivers the drugs while Carter checks everything and hands over the money, and Mylonas. However, when the gang decides to kill Guy and Mylonas, the former ends up warning Don secretly before the authorities come in and capture the gang members. While most of the gang members are arrested, including Carter, Hakan ends up running away from the space and evading arrest. The ending is left open, showing Hakan hiding in a nearby apartment with a woman. When she tells him that it’s okay and that she knows who he is, Hakan realizes that she is Zeki’s mother, the same person whom he betrayed. The scene ends with Hakan losing consciousness as the police rush into the apartment, suggesting that even he ends up getting arrested. The show comes to an end with Eddie, who had run away before Carter could have him killed. Bailey tells him about how Carter has been arrested, and Eddie is shown feeling at peace, knowing that his son’s death because of Carter and his drug trade has been avenged. He is shown spending time with his daughter in an undisclosed space. The series was released on Netflix on May 7, and currently has a total of 6 episodes. Go to Source
