A major update from Bihar’s NDA cabinet formation indicates that a total of 32 ministers will take oath today. According to sources, the BJP’s share in the cabinet has now increased to 15 ministers after confirmation that Shreyasi Singh has also received an official call for ministerial induction. Earlier reports had suggested 14 BJP ministers, but the inclusion of Shreyasi Singh has raised the number to 15. Meanwhile, the Janata Dal (United) is expected to have 13 ministers in the new cabinet. In addition, representation from alliance partners is also part of the structure, with two ministers from LJP(R), one from HAM, and one from RLM expected to take oath. The total cabinet strength reaches 32, excluding the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers who have already been sworn in. The final lineup reflects a carefully balanced coalition arrangement within the NDA, combining representation from multiple parties and social groups as part of the government formation in Bihar.
