Vikraman BREAKS DOWN in emotional video after RB Choudary’s demise, says 'I am living because of him'

RB Choudary, the veteran producer, who was the backbone of South Indian films and produced movies in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and more, met with a tragic road accident in Rajasthan, leaving the film fraternity in mourning. He was the head of Super Good Films. His sudden demise has triggered emotional reactions from many directors and actors.

Vikraman’s emotional video on RB Choudary’s demise

Director Vikraman shared an emotional video message after hearing the news of RB Choudary’s death. He broke down while speaking about his early struggles in cinema. He said, “I came to Chennai 40 years ago with dreams of becoming a director. I struggled a lot and even faced hunger during those days. I went to many producers with my story, but no one supported me.” He then recalled how RB Choudary changed his life completely.

Vikraman credits RB Choudary for his career

Vikraman further expressed in his video, “When I told my story to RB Choudary sir, he immediately agreed and gave me the chance to direct ‘Pudhu Vasantham’. Today, even my house is named after that film. If I am able to eat peacefully today, it is because of him.” The film became a major success and marked Vikraman’s breakthrough in Tamil cinema. Their association continued to be remembered as one of the most successful producer-director partnerships.

RB Choudary’s unfinished dream of 100 films

Vikraman also spoke about RB Choudary’s big dream of completing 100 films under Super Good Films. He said, “He had a dream to complete 100 films. It is very painful that he is not here to see that milestone. He gave chances to so many people and changed many lives.” He added that Choudary’s support helped many newcomers survive in the industry. The director ended his message with tears, saying the producer’s loss is not just personal but a huge loss to Indian cinema.
