Range Rover SV has been repriced from ₹425 lakh to ₹350 lakh.Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India on Tuesday announced a price reduction for select Range Rover models imported as completely built units (CBUs) from the UK, ahead of the implementation of the India–UK free trade agreement (FTA).
The Range Rover SV has been repriced from ₹425 lakh to ₹350 lakh, while the Range Rover Sport SV is now priced at ₹235 lakh, down from ₹275 lakh. The revised prices are effective immediately and reflect the expected changes in duties under the FTA.
“In anticipation of the India-UK FTA being implemented, we are pleased to extend its benefits to our clients. The updated pricing of Range Rover SV and Range Rover Sport SV underscores our customer-first approach and commitment to building long-term relationships with our clients. We’re confident that this FTA will allow more clients to experience the highly desirable and aspirational SV portfolio, and further strengthen the JLR India growth story,” said Rajan Amba, Managing Director, JLR India.
Locally manufactured models unaffected
The company said prices of locally manufactured models, including Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Velar and Discovery Sport, will remain unchanged.
Defender and Discovery models will also retain current pricing as they are manufactured in Slovakia and are not covered under the India–UK FTA.
