Deepika Padukone to skip Met Gala this year; prioritises Shah Rukh Khan’s King and Allu Arjun’s Raaka amid busy schedule

Deepika Padukone will not be attending the Met Gala this year, as per the latest reports. The development comes even as the actress recently grabbed attention with her glowing appearance alongside Shah Rukh Khan from their Cape Town shoot, sparking excitement among fans.While speculation was rife about her possible appearance at fashion’s biggest night, a source has now clarified that her current focus remains firmly on her film commitments.“Her priority has always been and continues to be films. With King slated to release at the end of this year and Raaka scheduled to release next year, her priority at the moment is to complete the shoot for these two films,” the source said.

Second pregnancy

Though fans across the globe will miss seeing Deepika deliver one of her signature red carpet moments, the actress appears to be balancing a packed slate.
