Trisha shares cryptic reply to absence from 'Suriya starrer ‘Karuppu’ audio launch: ‘My invite got lost in the mail’

Directed by RJ Balaji, ‘Karuppu,’ starring Suriya and Trisha, is one of the most talked-about Tamil films right now. As the movie gears up for release this month, Trisha Krishnan has become the center of attention because of her recent social media posts. Fans noticed that the actress did not attend the film’s grand audio launch event held in Madurai. While many actors from the film were present, her absence surprised fans and sparked several discussions online. Soon after the event, Trisha shared a cryptic message that quickly went viral on social media.

Trisha hints she was not invited to ‘Karuppu’ event

During the audio launch, R.J. Balaji praised Trisha and said, “Being Trisha is not an easy thing,” and this statement gained attention online. However, fans were left wondering about her absence. Now, a day later, a fan reacted to Trisha’s recently released “Preethi Intro” video from the film and joked that they almost forgot she was still a part of the film because she still looked so young. Trisha reposted the comment and replied humorously, saying she too had forgotten, but was happy that someone finally remembered her this time. She later added another post saying, “Guess my invite got lost in the mail,” which made fans believe she was indirectly talking about missing the audio launch invitation.

Trisha’s character of ‘Preethi’ creates strong buzz online

In ‘Karuppu,’ Trisha plays a lawyer named Preethi. Her short introduction video recently courted a praise from fans. The introductory clip, showcasing Trisha’s playful and “childish” charm, has resonated deeply with fans and sparked a massive social media trend of memes and videos. Her highly anticipated reunion with Suriya has further heightened expectations, with many predicting her character will be the film’s standout performance.Apart from the film updates, Trisha’s latest Instagram post has also gained traction. Sharing a stylish photo in a black outfit and jeans, she wrote, “May-Me season officially begins.” Fans immediately flooded the comments section with early birthday wishes as her birthday falls on May 4. She also used the song “You Should See Me In A Crown” in the post, which created more curiosity among fans. Many social media users started connecting the post with ongoing political discussions around Vijay, especially since Tamil Nadu election results are also expected around the same time. Even though Trisha did not explain the meaning behind her posts, her mysterious updates have once again become a major talking point online.
