The long-running event will continue its established multi-venue format. Organizers are now preparing to reveal the edition’s theme, title, and full show schedule. Eduarda Abbondanza and Mário Matos Ribeiro founded the event in 1991, and it remains Lisbon’s most prominent fashion platform.

Pátio da Galé (Terreiro do Paço) will once again serve as the headquarters, with Sala do Risco as the main stage—previously the site of Paço Real and Casa da Índia—nestled in Baixa Pombalina near the Tagus River. Organizers will stream the shows and other programming on Lisbon Fashion Week’s social media channels and at Modalisboa.pt.

ModaLisboa announced on Monday, September 1, and opened applications for mentors who wish to participate in organizing the Spring/Summer 2026 edition. In a statement, ModaLisboa explained that selected mentors “will be part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, taking an active role in the organization and implementation of the fashion presentations and in the various initiatives that make up the Lisbon Fashion Week programme.”

The organization is also accepting applications from young volunteers who will support the event’s logistics, backstage operations, runway shows, and access control.

Interested applicants can apply on the ModaLisboa website (Modalisboa.pt/voluntarios) until September 15.
