Candace Owens has made a fresh claim that is now getting a lot of attention online. She says Erika Kirk might use the recent shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner as a reason to step away from her ongoing tour with Turning Point USA. This comes at a time when the Spring 2026 tour is already underway and several college events have already taken place. The incident at the dinner shocked many people, especially because top political leaders were present, including Donald Trump, Melania Trump, and JD Vance. Soon after, a video of Erika surfaced where she looked emotional and said she just wanted to go home. While there is no official update about any cancellation, Candace Owens shared her thoughts in a clip and made it clear that this is her personal prediction. At the same time, reports from recent events are also raising questions about attendance and student response to the tour.

Candace Owens claims Erika Kirk may cancel TPUSA tour after WHCD shooting as JD Vance event draws low crowd

In a video clip, Candace Owens openly shared what she thinks could happen next. She said she believes Erika Kirk might use the shooting incident as a reason to stop touring.“Very quickly want to get in my predictions for Erika addressing the world about the shooting… I’m going to guess that they’re going to use this now as an excuse to say that she’s not going to be touring anymore,” Owens said. She did not stop there. Candace Owens also spoke about the reaction from students at different campuses. According to her, there have been protests, and some students were not happy about hosting Erika Kirk even before the incident. She suggested this could be affecting ticket sales too.“Again, total guess, they’re going to parlay this into, well, she’s been re-traumatized by the shooting, and that’s the reason she’s going to take a step back because the world has become too violent. That’s my prediction,” Owens added.Right now, these are only her claims. There is no official confirmation that the tour will be canceled.Looking at the tour itself, the Spring 2026 leg started earlier this month. Events have already taken place at George Washington University, the University of Georgia, Ohio State University, Baylor University, and the University of Idaho. The Fall leg is planned to begin on September 22, 2026, starting at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Other stops include Utah State, Virginia Tech, and the University of North Dakota.Meanwhile, another moment from the tour has also caught attention. JD Vance attended an event at the University of Georgia, but reports say the turnout was not strong. Journalist Jake Traylor shared that only about a quarter of the venue was filled. He even posted a video on X showing many empty seats inside the arena. At the same time, Erika Kirk has spoken briefly after the shooting. In a video that surfaced online, she appeared emotional and said she wanted to go home. Later, while speaking on Charlie Kirk’s podcast, she said:“Saturday was yet another traumatic example of the evil in our country and the continued rise in political violence. I’m taking time to spend with my family.”The shooting itself has led to serious legal action. Authorities have taken 31-year-old Cole Allen into custody. He has been charged with attempting to assassinate the president.Even with all this happening, there is still no official word that Erika Kirk is canceling or postponing her tour. For now, the events remain scheduled, and Candace Owens’ comments remain a prediction, not confirmed news. Go to Source
