Crime Update: ₹50K Rewarded Triple Murder Accused Jeetu Saini Killed in Bulandshahr Encounter

In a major development from Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district, police have killed a ₹50,000-rewarded accused, Jeetu Saini, in an encounter in the Khurja area. The accused was the main suspect in a shocking triple murder case that took place on April 25. According to police reports, the encounter occurred during a routine checking operation when Jeetu Saini attempted to evade arrest and opened fire on the police team. During the exchange, an inspector and a constable sustained bullet injuries and were immediately admitted to a hospital. Both are currently undergoing treatment and are reported to be out of danger. Police retaliated in self-defense, critically injuring the accused. He was taken to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Officials confirmed that Jeetu Saini was the prime accused in the triple murder incident, where he allegedly shot dead three of his friends during a birthday party following a dispute over applying cake on his face. The Event had shocked the local community and triggered widespread outrage. So far, five other accused have already been arrested in connection with the case. Jeetu Saini, who had been absconding, was considered the key accused. Police had announced a reward of ₹50,000 for information leading to his arrest. During the encounter, police recovered an illegal firearm and a scooter from the spot. Authorities stated that efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining absconding suspects, who also carry similar rewards.
