Famed pop icon Nicola Roberts, best known for her songs such as ‘Beat Of My Drum’, ‘Love Machine’, and ‘Sound Of The Underground’, is currently expecting her first child with her soon to be husband, Mitch Hahn. While she has kept everyone updated about her journey as a mother, she recently posted about a major event in her life. She revealed that at 22 weeks pregnant, she had to undergo major surgery to “keep her baby in.”

Taking to social media recently, the famed singer gave fans and netizens alike a big update on her life as a soon to be mother. Sharing a few photos of her baby bump, she revealed that while things have been going good and she is closing in on week 34, she recently had to undergo major surgery.She wrote, “I’ve been under instruction not to do much since I had the surgery at 22 weeks to help keep baby in. Hitting that 34 week mark was a big relief. I now only have a few weeks left. Safe to say, this last bit is not the easiest is it?! In one breath, it will be nice to feel more comfortable again but I will also really miss my bump and having this tiny little thing in there.”At the time of writing, the singer has not provided any more details about her surgical operation. However, in January, it was revealed that she had to undergo a procedure and halt most of her events at that time.

Nicola Roberts pulls out of ‘West End’ show

The singer, back in January, was starring as Persephone in Hadestown during a ‘West End show.’ At the time, however, she had to pull out of the schedule and completely halt her activities after undergoing a major surgical procedure.At the time, she had posted on social media apologizing to the people who had been looking forward to seeing her on stage. She further wrote at the time that “I’m so sad and disappointed to have to share this news with you all. Today I have learnt that I have to undergo a small surgical procedure and have been informed by my doctor that as a result, I will be unable to complete my final week of Hadestown shows. Everything is ok.”
