With this addition, Kia said it has expanded its presence to 800 service touchpoints, including mobile touchpoints, across 391 cities, catering to its base of over 1.5 million customers.
“The inauguration of our 500th Service Workshop is a proud milestone that reflects our deep commitment to customer-centricity. This achievement is not just about scale, but about ensuring that every Kia customer experiences convenience, transparency, and trust throughout their ownership journey,” said Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director & CEO, Kia India.
The Ahmedabad facility spans 76,069 sq. ft., including 41,640 sq. ft. covered area, and is designed to enhance service capacity in the region. It features 57 service bays, including eight dedicated washing and mopping bays, along with parking space for 100 vehicles. Kia said the workshop can service up to 40,000 vehicles annually and is supported by a team of 90 trained professionals.

It also includes a ‘Shine Zone’ for premium exterior care services such as ceramic coating.
Dealer Principal Baljeet Singh Bagga said the expansion reinforces Kia’s customer-first approach. “This new workshop represents another meaningful step in bringing the Kia brand closer to our customers, while elevating service accessibility and experience in the region,” he said.
Kia also highlighted sustainability initiatives at the new site, including 145 kW solar power generation, rainwater harvesting and water recycling systems. The company said it has established 124 green workshops nationwide, collectively generating 8.90 MW of solar energy.
